Music is a channel for emotion regulation, and socialization for adolescents with ASD (aka Autism Spectrum Disorder).
My daughter, Mano, has Autism. Living with a child with Autism (ASD) has its challenge. But when you love your daughter as much as I do, and understand HER everyday challenges, you have to stop and say (to yourself): “What can I do with what I know?”
I know music and I know music heals.
Perhaps with my music, and with her mother’s knowledge of assessment and treatment, I can find the key that will make Mano’s life that much easier!
Yet another example of why we really cannot love without music!
